Get ready for the school year with a FREE sports physical at the Sunshine Community Celebration!
From 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, Sunshine Community Health Center is proud to offer FREE sports physicals for students in need. We encourage families to pre-register by calling 907-376-2273, as appointment availability is limited. Walk-ins will be accommodated if appointments remain available.
A sports physical, also known as a pre-participation physical examination (PPE), helps ensure your student is healthy and ready to safely participate in school sports and other physical activities. During the visit, a healthcare provider reviews your child's medical history, checks vital signs, evaluates vision, heart and lung health, strength, flexibility, and overall physical wellness, and identifies any conditions that may need follow-up before the season begins.
